The planning heats up :)

So things got really quiet for a while.  Work just seems to take up all my time and energy right now but we have still managed to get a few things done towards the trip.
First thing was getting the flights booked and we decided to go with Emirates.  Everyone knows what a sook I am when it comes to flying and I didn't want a shitty noisy cheap plane that stopped 6 times on the way!  Our flights are from Brisbane - Dubai, stopover for a few hours then Dubai - Munich and reverse for the return.  Fly out March 4th - fly home April 26th

So now that we know how long we are staying and where our European adventure begins we could start bedding down the itinerary!

First stop will be St Anton, Austria and we have found a lovely little studio apartment called Haus Marco which we have booked and paid the deposit for.

We will stay here for 3 weeks!

We will then head to Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris before going to Croatia for Easter with my family!
After Croatia off to Rome, Vatican City and Venice, Barcelona, Madrid and Pamplona, then Lourdes before cruising back to Munich.
Of course most of this is flexible, we reserve the right to change our minds and head somewhere else instead!

Today we went and bought our backpacks!  Very excited and wish I could start packing right now!
Mine is a Roman 75 litre + daypack wheeling backpack and Nathan's is a Roman 75 litre + daypack standard backpack :)
