Planning a trip to Europe is always an exciting thing but for me there is more, a reason for nerves and excitement and other emotions that I can't quite define.
I am travelling to Europe to meet my father, in the flesh, for the first time since I was 3 years old.
Now I am not a good flier and need to be sedated to get on a plane and stay there without becoming a jibbering mess....so I have decided that since I am there already, I may as well spend a few months exploring this amazing continent and the country of my birth.
So here begins the planning!
